Location and date are set!
After much google-searching and site-visiting, we've managed to find a place to hold our wedding. The ceremony and reception/party will take place on June 26th at Rush Ranch Nature Center, about an hour's drive northeast of Oakland/SF.
The ranch is owned by the Solano County Land Trust, and though close in proximity to Fairfield and Suisun City (only 2 miles away), the ranch itself is totally off the grid, run entirely off wind and solar power. Another perk is that there's a huge campground space right there, so anyone who feels so inclined is welcome to camp with us post-wedding night. Hopefully we'll be playing music around the fire pit until the wee morning hours....and then, ah...the bagels, the bacon, the leftover wedding cake.
